Call For Entries: Rivers, Textile and Dye Pants

Call for Entries-A New England Society of Botanical Artists members exhibit at Brush Art Gallery in Lowell, Massachusetts is open to any NESBA member in good standing (dues paid).

Theme-An original botanical artwork depicting a river, textile or dye plant.  Can be from anywhere in the world, not limited to New England.

Exhibit Guidelines- Artwork preferred to be for sale but not required to be.  The Brush Art Gallery shall sell artwork at the price listed and set by the artist.  The Brush Art Gallery will handle all sales. Details to be provided by the Gallery.

Framing-Please follow NESBA framing standard for this exhibit: white or off-white mats and a simple gold, medium, or light wood frame. Plexi or glass is permitted in this gallery. No sawtooth hangers.  Frames that do not meet exhibit quality standards will not be accepted.
All artwork must be bubble wrapped and properly labeled and include a $10 hanging fee, (cash or check made out to NESBA).  If shipping please enclose shipping instructions, UPS or USPS only, plus return prepaid shipping with hanging fee.

Artist Statement:- Submit an artist statement/bio to be included in the exhibits promotional material (optional).

September 4- Deliver work to person/drop-off point. Artists may provide Giclee quality prints or cards of botanicals to be sold in the gallery during the exhibit. See prints and card guidelines.

Commission: Gallery takes 40% on all work sold including prints/cards 
Artists will be required to sign the Brush Art Gallery's, "Artist Loan and Insurance Agreement". Form will be sent upon receipt of Intent to Exhibit, and the Agreement will be placed in the bubble wrap envelope with the artwork.

September 15- Exhibit hanging date

September 26- Opening reception

October 26- NESBA pickup from the Brush Gallery. Retrieve artwork from exhibit by prior arrangement with delivery person.

Liability Statement — NESBA is unable to assume liability during the show. Artists exhibit at their own risk. All artwork will be handled with the utmost care. Artwork may not be removed prior to scheduled end of the exhibit.
