NESBA Call for Entries: CT Audubon Society-Center at Pomfret
Bask in the beauty of the bountiful natural history of New England. Mountains, woodlands, bogs and beaches provide endless subjects to portray in paintings. From plants and birds to animals and insects. Come join us to view the natural history works of the members of the New England Society of Botanical Artists and celebrate 'The Beauty of Nature's Bounty. A New England Society of Botanical Artists members exhibit is open to any NESBA member in good standing (dues paid).

Theme — This show includes native and garden botanical subjects with or without birds, insects and other animals.
Exhibit Guidelines— Members may submit up to 2 pieces. Artwork preferred to be for sale but not required. The CT Audubon Society shall sell artwork at the price listed and set by the artist and will take a 30% commission.
Framing — Please follow NESBA framing standard for this exhibit: white or off-white mats and a simple gold, medium, or light wood frame. No sawtooth hangers, or mats. Frames that do not meet exhibit quality standards will not be accepted.
Hanging Fee — $10 cash or check made out to NESBA, to be attached to bubble wrap envelope. All artwork must be bubble wrapped and properly labeled. Labels and directions on NESBA website: upper right side. If shipping, please enclose shipping instructions plus return prepaid shipping.
Artists Statement — Submit an artist statement/bio to be included in the exhibit’s promotional material (optional). Guidelines for your statement are posted on the NESBA website:

Liability Statment — NESBA is unable to assume liability during the show. Artists exhibit at their own risk. All artwork will be handled with the utmost care. Artwork may not be removed prior to scheduled end of the exhibit.

Filoli presents its 17th Annual Botanical Art Exhibit
March 24 through Sunday, June 7, 2015
With its exquisite formal Garden, heirloom orchard, and nature preserve, Filoli is a unique and fitting venue for this historical art form that has rendered plants throughout history and from around the world. Filoli has been a leader in the study and appreciation of its history and practice, which combines the observational skills of the scientist and the sensibility of the artist. This coming spring we present the 17th Annual Botanical Art Exhibit at Filoli. Come and experience the West Coast’s most prominent botanical art exhibit!
