Congratulations to NESBA member!

From Pam Gordon:
I wanted to let you know that my Blackberry Lily, Bellamcanda chinensis, has been accepted into the Duxbury Winter Juried Show 2014 held at the Duxbury Art Complex Museum. The Art Complex was the first venue for the MT2SC show. This is a large and very competitive show so I am happy to be included. I have not tried this show since switching to botanical art as I felt the subject was too different than what is usually shown. Mountains to the Sea got such a great reception there that I hoped it had stimulated interest in our specialty. It is great to have the chance to bring botanical painting into more mainstream shows.

Mountains to the Sea at the Bartlett Arboretum, Stamford, CT

The opening reception was held Sunday, January 19.

Kitty Gilbert, Kathie Miranda, Jeanne Reiner, and Kelly Radding did a beautiful job of hanging the show.

Carole Levine, a juror for the show, and Joyce Westner, chairman of the of the exhibit, were instrumental in securing the Bartlett for this exhibit.
